South Kentucky RECC Presents Senior Scholarships

South Kentucky RECC has presented eleven $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in its service territory.

Alan Coffey, Member Services and Marketing Team Leader for SKRECC, said that presenting scholarships is one way that South Kentucky RECC can help achieve part of its mission statement, approved by the board of directors in 1999, to “improve the quality of life in its communities.”

“South Kentucky RECC’s board of directors, management team, and employees are very proud of the young people in our area, and we recognize their importance in our communities. South Kentucky RECC also realizes the importance of education and the impact that it will have on our area. It is toward this effort that we have always tried to assist students financially to further their educations in hopes that they will bring back to our communities what they have learned.”
