Winter Storm Uri brought ice and snow storms to the South Kentucky RECC service territory beginning Monday, February 15. At peak, the co-op reported about 21,000 without power.
South Kentucky RECC has sent two, four-man construction crews and two, two-man crews to aid with restoration due to Hurricane Sally, a category two hurricane, which was downgraded to a tropical storm after making landfall.
